What was the highlight of Hotel Checkin Montpalau
We felt very good in Pineda de Mar.
Perfect hotel location, very good breakfast, easy to communicate with the personal from reception, excellent rapport quality/price.
no hairdryer, no soap in the bathroom, no glasses in the room, the room service only arranged the sheets on the bed and didn't clean anything.

Perfect for sun holiday on a smaller budget, especially nice for families
Ideal spot for a tight budget but still being ale to enjoy all the necessities for a good holiday: it has airco (not great but works well enough), the pool is quite small but perfect for kids and to cool off, really nice location in the middle of townsquare, so lots of activities, especially for small kids, easy and pleasant walk to the beach
The pool is small and not super clean, rooms and hallway are quite noisy. The beds were not given clean sheets in a whole week.

Nothing. Maybe only the location is fine.
It was awful. The first four days they didn’t clean our room. After two requests they finally cleaned the room. The iron provided by the receptionist, was with damaged cable on several spots and my wife was electrocuted. The staff in general was rude and disrespectful. Especially the one in the dining facility. On several occasions they asked us to change our table, when we were already eating. The cleaning ladies went inside the room few times without a warning. Also they did not leave new towels every time they did the room. There is no parking as it was advertised and when we asked, they told us that parking is available in another hotel, which is far away. The wrong information about the parking in the advertisement, cost us a lot of money and time. The pool was not in it’s best shape, there was no lifeguard and loud, noisy music was allowed to be played by the other visitors, which was very uncomfortable.

Pleasant.
The location is excellent, breakfast was satisfactory.
Beds were a little uncomfortable, the air con, although operational, was poor as it barely cooled the room down.
